Day of departure
The big day arrived! This day was sometimes frustrating for me. It’s hard to leave your home and family for 3 months. But I felt better about it when I knew Skype and FaceTime is also possible these days.
At the day of departure there was a big traffic queue to Schiphol, so me and my family decided to go by train to the airport. The waiting time on Schiphol also was longer because the police was controlling for a terroristic attack. So we decided to leave one hour earlier to Schiphol. At the moment we arrived on the airport we had enough time to do everything before boarding. The boarding of the plane started at 13:15. And I’ve been flying with mrs. De Vries because she also had an appointment in Spain on the Quercus school. 
The flight took about 2 and a half hours. When we arrived in Madrid we haven’t had to go by bus to Salamanca because my host family picked us up on the airport.
As we arrived home it was already 8 o’clock in the evening, I was pretty tired and went to bed at 21:30 pm.
